Jay represents the primary leadership responsibility for all key operating areas of the business. Prior to assuming his role as CEO, Jay oversaw several key operating areas of the business that included the sales and management for the company’s RV communities, the development of several proprietary innovations which led to streamlining and vastly improving the efficiency of the company’s tax sale business as well as spearheading the identification, analysis and acquisition processes for the company’s investment real estate division.

Jay obtained his business management degree from Boston University, his JD from Hofstra University and is the licensed real estate managing broker of Jennings Realty, Inc.

James Adamo has over 28 years of diverse executive level financial accounting and management experience. Mr. Adamo currently directs all financial reporting, budgeting, tax, treasury, and financing activities for the operations of Jennings Realty, Inc. and other related entities including its mobile home community and RV park operations, real estate property management and tax certificate investment operations.

Mr. Adamo began his career at a national real estate investment company and to date has been principally involved in real estate investment and construction related activities, systems development and managed financial reporting departments over his entire career.

Mr. Adamo earned his B.S. in Commerce with Honors from DePaul University, and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and Real Estate Broker in the State of Illinois. He is a member of The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and The Illinois C.P.A. Society.


Attorney of Counsel

Brian has represented Jennings Realty, Inc. in many significant real estate transactions and has been the company’s chief legal representative for its tax lien operations for over 15 years. Mr. Burak is a member of the Illinois & Florida State Bar Associations, is a graduate of the University of Miami School of Law, with an LLM in real estate development and is a graduate of the Northern Illinois University College of Law.


Chief Technology Officer & Vice President of Jennings Realty, Inc.

Louis began working at Jennings Realty, Inc. in 2002 and as C.T.O of the company, he is involved with all technological issues surrounding the organization. His day to day involves analyzing real estate data to assist in the many real estate investments the company makes. Louis received his M.S. in computer science from Northwestern University and an M.F.A in filmmaking from Columbia University.

Barbara Davis has always felt a strong commitment to family, business, and community. This is the reason why her real estate boutique brokerage of “Jennings on the Park” was opened 7 years ago in the heart of Glencoe’s business district, one of her favorite spots.. Barbara’s business expertise came from working in her 5th generation family business in real estate. Having over thirty-five years’ experience in real estate has enabled her to use her management skills to support her “Jennings on the Park “ team so that each individual can work with confidence and reach his or her highest abilities. Barbara utilizes her strengths of compassion and leadership in the office, as well as on each Volunteer Board which she participates in. With her capacity to network throughout her community of Glencoe and beyond; she enjoys bringing in new people to support important projects for the Glencoe Rotary and Family Service of Glencoe. In addition, Barbara has been active over the years with The Glencoe Chamber, The Glencoe Historical Society, Gencoe Women’s Library Club and supports various community wide projects as well. As a business owner, she realizes the importance of participating in community and being supportive of the people around her. Howard is Warren J. Peters’ nephew and has been with Jennings Realty since it’s early inception. He joined the firm in 1968 following service to our country as a First Lieutenant in the US Army. Howard worked in real estate development and mobile home park sales & operations in Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan and Illinois as well as serving as Chief Operating Officer of Jennings Realty’s Delinquent Tax Certificate Operations until 2011, while also serving as Corporate Secretary and General Counsel. Howard received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan, a master’s degree from Florida State University and his JD from DePaul University. He is licensed in Illinois as a Managing Broker and has taught courses in real estate principles and transactions for the Real Estate Institute.

Mr. Engelsen joined Jennings Realty over 15 years ago as a paralegal, was later elevated to office manager and he currently oversees all aspects of purchasing for Jennings Realty’s real estate tax auction business.

Stan is a very experienced real estate broker with almost two decades of experience in the luxury residential and commercial real estate markets.

Mr. Engelsen has a Masters of Science Degree in Communications from Northwestern University’s Executive Managerial Program, he received a BS with a concentration in Business Law from DePaul University and a Paralegal Certification from Roosevelt University.

Ivan has over 20 years of experience selling and managing a wide spectrum of assets that include single family, condominium, hotel condominium, apartments, senior housing, strip malls, land and non-performing assets. He is highly skilled in real estate negotiations and provides efficiency and transparency to every transaction. Ivan is responsible for carrying out the day-to- day functions and business associated with the company’s real estate investments and works closely with the executive team ensuring the company’s goals and objectives are accomplished. Ivan has also served as the firm’s construction project manager; ensuring compliance with design specification and building code regulations. He has supervised residential and commercial budgets, requiring coordination with architects, structural engineers and contractors to ensure the integrity of the project. Ivan earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing from Northern Illinois University. He is licensed Real Estate Broker in Illinois and is a member of the Chicago Association of Realtors.
